Jasmine Murray lost her husband Marcus Murray in death resulting from Leukemia, on March 10, 2017. They were just over 2 months short of celebrating their 1-year wedding anniversary. Marcus & Jasmine shared the passion of dance and performing which added to the close bond they had.
After Jasmine lost her life-long dance partner, she thought she would never dance or perform again. However, she knows deep in her heart that Marcus would not want her to stop dancing. So Jasmine decides she will perform once more in celebration of their brief, yet beautiful union, incorporating Marcus' most memorable dances and aspects of his dance wardrobe.

The shirt Jasmine is wearing was especially designed and printed to mimic Marcus’ original shirt of the same design when worn in his performances with “KEMASTRY”.
Jasmine also has Marcus’ real jacket and shirt laid on the dancing bar in the background of the studio.

The song used for Jasmine’s performance was originally the song Marcus wanted to use for their wedding video.
The name of the dance studio is “Empower Dance Studio”. The owner Nicole Oxendine, graciously rented her location out to us for part of the day to shoot the film. She welcomes any who would like to rent her facility to visit www.empowerdancestudio.com/rentals.
Heather Marvin (of Heather Marvin Creative) has over 10 years of experience in multimedia design, including that of video post production. Heather Marvin is the older sister of Jasmine Murray.

Both Heather Marvin & Joseph Headen previously attended private art school, the Living Arts College in Wakefield, NC.
